We live in Denver. Why should I post anything about Detroit? Who cares? It’s Detroit!

Very simple reason: Detroit’s teachers are waging an inspiring struggle against their bosses and the concessions of their union leaders. They’re doing this in the midst of an educational crisis by allying with students, other workers, and parents….

    We are with Detroit teachers in California as well. Trying to spread the news for Detroit is representative of so much that is happening with the privatiztaion of education and the fight back by students and teachers and community.
